Angelina Jolie waved to the cameras on her way into dinner with her castmates before tonight’s big premiere of Changeling. She looked gorgeous showing off her slimmed down figure in good spirits even without any of her big family who made the trip with her. We’ll see more of Angelina at tonight’s premiere and whether or not she has Brad by her side, she already has Oscar buzz to keep that famous smile on her face.

After strutting her bikini body poolside in Miami on Friday, Beyonce kept her sunglasses on for a dip with Solange. She deserves a break after a whole lot of hard work on her new album, and a little sun and swimming sounds like the perfect vacation. Of course, it’s no romantic getaway with Jay-Z, but sometimes a little sisterly bonding can be just as much fun.

Jennnifer Lopez resurfaced in LA yesterday after her romantic weekend trip to Las Vegas with Marc. The couple renewed their wedding vows early Sunday morning, and Jennifer was still glowing as she went shopping back in California. With the twins’ first holiday season coming up, she and Marc have a busy few months ahead of them, but maybe they can sneak in another honeymoon to celebrate their recommitment.

Fresh from a weekend on the set of Yes Man, Jim Carrey went out with Jenny McCarthy for AFI’s Night At The Movies presented by Target in LA. They weren’t the only stars out for the red carpet — Keanu Reeves kept it typically dark while Cameron Diaz had that in love smile on her face though no hot Paul by her side. Plus at the end of those long legs were some adorable polka dot shoes. The event included simultaneous screenings of 12 classic American movies with introductions from their stars — Jim went on stage to talk about Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Keanu for The Matrix, Cameron for There’s Something About Mary and on and on from Dustin Hoffman to Mike Meyers. Sounds like a perfect way to take in a Wednesday night at the movies taking a walk down memory lane joined by some of the world’s biggest stars.

Madonna carried David into NYC’s Kabbalah Center yesterday to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and came out a few hours later with her manager and friend Guy Oseary. She’s enjoying some family time after wrapping up the European leg of her Sticky & Sweet tour last weekend and before kicking things off in North America this Friday. Hopefully she’ll also find time to promote her directorial debut Filth & Wisdom between shows — the film’s trailer just came out and it hits screens on October 17th.

Jennifer Garner shared a laugh with her friend on the way to breakfast at Le Pain in Brentwood this morning. She kept her baby bump warm under a cozy sweatshirt despite the sunshine. After an emotional playground trip over the weekend, Jennifer’s preschool-going sweetheart Violet didn’t join mom on this outing. It’s always nice to fit in a little adult time, too, because with another baby on the way, soon it’ll be harder to squeeze in quiet breakfasts with friends for this hands-on mom.

Last night the legendary screen actor and philanthropist passed away at the age of 83. Paul was surrounded by friends and family when he passed at his home in Westport, CT, after battling cancer. Few details were released by his publicist just as his illness was kept under the radar since suspicions rose earlier this year. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, actress Joanne Woodward, and their five daughters and grandchildren.
Paul was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and directed and starred in films including Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Road to Perdition. Paul won his first Oscar with The Color of Money as well as two additional honorary awards. He was one of the most charitable men in Hollywood with his food empire, Newman’s Own, and as a co-founder of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a summer camp for seriously ill children.
As well as one of the most giving, he was also arguably the coolest man in Hollywood, who raced cars and flashed those baby blue eyes. He remained married to his longtime sweetheart for over 50 years and stayed away from the Hollywood scene. He will be greatly missed.
Lindsay Lohan was out and about in LA on Friday after a busy week including the interview on Loveline where she talked about being with Samantha for a long time. While most of us took this as confirmation of their relationship, Lindsay’s publicist Leslie Sloane-Zelnik felt the need to say that, “There was no confession,” and that there’s nothing more than a very close friendship between the girls. At this point the girls don’t seem to be overly concerned about keeping things under wraps including public kisses, so tell us — should Lindsay’s publicist stay out of her personal life?

Matt Damon and Wyclef Jean were in Cabaret, Haiti on Saturday to distribute food and oil to people affected by Hurricane Ike. Wyclef has long been active in his home country, but he brought Matt along to attract attention to the region, which has been devastated after being hit by multiple storms this Summer. The charitable duo just left Toronto after the OneXOne gala, which benefited children’s funds, so it seems as though Wyclef and Matt have a good thing going helping out together.

Naomi Watts spent another afternoon out in LA with her fourteen-month-old son Alexander yesterday. They were joined by Alexander’s nanny for a trip to a park, where they went for a walk in his high-rated lightweight stroller and had a chat before packing up and heading back home. While Naomi got a fancy new ride for her birthday, she’ll also be on the market for some more wheels — double stroller style — to cart around Alexander and his new little brother or sister soon.

Natalie Portman headed into LAX and out of town with her doggie Charlie yesterday. The pup stretched his legs before his time in the carrier and Natalie was looking ready for flight too in her comfy sweats. She has her buddy with her this time, but elsewhere in life she’s back to flying solo after recently breaking up with Devendra Banhart. Natalie’s quite the catch so hopefully she can get a smile back on her face before long whether or not she’s making sweet music with another guy soon.

Kate Moss was joined by her former assistant, Fiona, for an afternoon of shopping in London yesterday before attending the Agent Provocateur fragrance launch party at Dolce Club last night. Hopefully for Kate this means a professional reconciliation with Fiona who Kate had a hard time without. Fiona isn’t the only person working their way back into Kate’s life — Jamie Hince apparently wants to patch things up and maybe even start a family. We’ve seen them make up and break up before, but if Kate really is thinking of more kids she could surely use the help of her old assistant. For the moment, however, it looks like Kate’s happy party girl ways are winning out with a kiss from Agent Provocateur founder Joe Corre and champagne with friends.

Naomi Watts and a friend took baby Alexander out for a walk in Brentwood before shopping at The Right Start in Santa Monica yesterday. Naomi may be an older mother, but she’s staying active and fit as her baby bump continues to grow. Alexander is also getting so big and graduating to a cool new high chair — which will probably make for a nice hand-me-down once the newest family addition arrives.

As Katie Holmes continues to rehearse in preparation for the first night of previews of All My Sons on Thursday, two very special fans arrived in town — Suri and Tom. Last night Suri had her favorite stuffed bunny and blanket in hand landing after a helicopter ride, before the trio headed out this morning. Suri must be pretty tired from all the jet-setting she’s been doing, but luckily she has her fuzzy buddy to keep her company and time for a nap before watching mom take the stage tomorrow night.
